Beatriz Paniagua is our young but experienced winemaker. After working for a few different Spanish wineries, Beatriz began an innovative wine project for Finca Constancia, one of the wineries owned by the González Byass family in Castilla-La Mancha. 200 hectares planted with the best local and international varieties that adapt perfectly to this amazing estate. The uniqueness of this vineyard is the way in which it is separated into 70 different plots that are harvested and vinified by parcel, thereby allowing for 100% traceability for each wine. This places the emphasis on what Beatriz likes to call “small plot” wines. Research and development are also particularly important to Beatriz who has created her own experimental garden at Finca Constancia, in conjunction with 2 prestigious Spanish universities.

Beatriz is a modern woman who likes to listen to what her customers and consumers have to say, men and women who want to enjoy their free time, unwind, have a good laugh and relax.

She is passionate about wine and especially aromas, no perfume or essence going unnoticed by her keen sense of smell and this was, like the aromas stored in her memory, how the idea for Fragantia was born; a low-alcohol, and low-calorie, drink which makes everyday life more fun, to be savoured free from the stresses of the day, allowing us to enjoy our own time to the full.

The great aromatic potential of Moscatel is reflected in the name of this wine. Moscatel de Alexandria, a variety with small berries that is considered to be the finest and most elegant of the many types of Moscatels.

Harvest was carried out at the coolest point of the night during the month of September, in order to retain the fragrant aromas contained in the grape’s skin. The winemaking process comes to an end naturally, when the perfect balance between acidity, alcohol and sugar has been found.

How does it taste?
It is clean, bright and straw-yellow in color with hints of intense green. On the nose the wine is full and perfumed, with touches of exotic fruit, such as passion fruit and mango standing out.

The grapes are selected from our vineyards at their optimum point of maturation, this way they maintain the unique characteristics of the Syrah grape; hints of strawberry, violets. Floral with a sweet and fruity finish.
